Dance Church x Here and Now Project!

Back in March, we hosted a special Dance Church class at Washington Hall in partnership with the incredible folks at the Here and Now Project — a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and connecting people with paralysis and mobility disabilities.

The night began with a social gathering as folks arrived, followed by a 45-minute Dance Church class led by Lavinia Vago, with support from Carlin Kramer, Kiné Camara, and Kit Wyatt. After class, we kept the fun flowing with pizza, refreshments, and time to hang out and connect!!

We had 25 people in the room — dancing, laughing, and celebrating the joy of movement and community. Big thanks to our pizza sponsor Cornelly and to Claire and Kenny Salvini of the Here and Now Project for helping make it all happen.

This event is part of our continued relationship with the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Harborview Medical Center, thanks to our collaborators Becky Hansen and Kristy Grant.
