Keeping our dance floors safe

At Dance Church, we stand in solidarity with our values, committed to upholding the principles that this community exemplifies — Inclusivity, Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, Community, and Joy. We are a space for gathering, public healing, and collective expression. Our work is rooted in community practice, using dance and togetherness to create meaningful impact. Now more than ever, our work together can be a powerful counterpoint to the divisiveness around us.
Our commitment to each other, to our community, and to our shared values is forever. Dance Church will continue to be a safe space where people of all identities can come together, connect, and express themselves freely. Below is our Safe Space Policy as a reminder of the values we uphold at Dance Church.
Dance Church has a zero tolerance policy for violence of any kind, including: racism, homophobia, xenophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, ageism, and any other discriminatory or aggressive language or actions. Sexual harassment of any kind is not tolerated. Anyone exhibiting behaviors that do not adhere to this policy will be asked to leave.
We want our policies to reflect our commitment to holding up our community and the healing work we are doing together. Let’s keep showing up, for ourselves and for each other.
